Biography
Originally a Connecticut native, Dr. Veal graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a degree in engineering and served 5 1/2 years as an Army officer in the artillery. He then left the service to attend dental school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he graduated #1 in his class. After that Dr. Veal attended Loma Linda University in southern California where he graduated with a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Immediately after graduation in 1971, Dr. Veal established his orthodontic practice as well as his residence in Oxnard and has lived here most of that time. Dr. Veal is married and has one daughter with 2 children living in Virginia and another daughter with two children living in New Hampshire. Dr. Veal has traveled extensively and especially enjoys traveling to visit his grandchildren. He is a sports enthusiast but now mainly alpine skis and plays golf in his spare time.
